COLUMBIA & KOOTENAY STEAM NAVIGATION CO was formed in 1890 by a syndicate including John MARA, John IRVING and others to work steamers on the COLUMBIA R–ARROW LKS run between Little Dalles, WA, 13 km south of the border, and the CPR railhead at REVELSTOKE.
