GRAHAM LANDING was an AGRICULTURAL community and former port of call for PADDLEWHEEL STEAMBOATS 80 km north of CASTLEGAR, on the west side of the COLUMBIA R between Upper and Lower ARROW LKS. It disappeared after the KEENLEYSIDE DAM raised water levels in 1968. Settled in the 1890s, it was named after A.J. Graham, who ran a small SAWMILL here and became the first postmaster.
