McLean, Herman Alexander

McLEAN, Herman Alexander, missionary doctor (b 10 May 1896, Killarney, MB; d 17 Oct 1975, Victoria). After graduating in medicine from the Univ of Manitoba in 1928 he worked for several years at BELLA COOLA, then attended bible school in Alberta. He and his wife Hester were in VANCOUVER in 1937 when he was invited by the SHANTYMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOC to make a medical tour up the west coast of VANCOUVER ISLAND.
