TOLMIE, Simon Fraser, farmer, politician, premier 21 Aug 1928–15 Nov 1933 (b 25 Jan 1867, Saanich; d 13 Oct 1936, Victoria). His father was William Fraser TOLMIE, a prominent FUR TRADER and politician on VANCOUVER ISLAND, and his grandfather was John WORK, another prominent fur trader.
