COLLIER, Eric, trapper, writer (b 1903, Northampton, England; d 15 Mar 1966, Riske Creek). He arrived in BC from England in 1920 to work at an uncle's homestead near CLINTON, then moved to RISKE CREEK and worked for Frederick BECHER. In 1930 he, his wife Lillian and young son Veasy moved north to an isolated area near MELDRUM CRK, where he was instrumental in returning BEAVER to the area.
