LADY ROSE was a 31-m cargo and passenger vessel serving camps and communities in ALBERNI INLET and BARKLEY SOUND on the west coast of VANCOUVER ISLAND until her retirement in 2011. Built in Glasgow in 1936 for the UNION STEAMSHIP CO, it was first used in HOWE SOUND; during WWII it served as an armed forces carrier in Alberni Inlet.
