In the current issue of Reader's Digest magazine, journalist Arno Kopecky has a long article about the proposed Enbridge pipeline project.
Kopecky spent three months cruising the Inside Passage on a sailboat speaking to people about the possible impact of oil tankers on the part of the BC coast that environmentalists call The Great Bear Rainforest but which pipeline advocates are trying to rebrand as the Northern Gateway.
It's a good piece. You can read it online here.
Plus, Global TV is airing a feature on the article tomorrow evening (Jan. 18) at 10 p.m. on its current affairs program 16:9.
