The lighthouse at Amphitrite Point near Ucluelet, last week, in a photograph by Ann Carroll, a friend who was visiting from Montreal. The fact that I was playing truant out at Long Beach explains why there have not been any recent posts.

By the way, the Amphritite light station was established in 1915 and the bunkerlike tower was completed three years later.
